The community of Our Lady of Guadalupe rejoices with those who celebrate the birth of a child.  

Parents and / or godparents must be registered in this parish.  Those who are not  registered in the parish must have a letter from their pastor granting permission for baptism. Parents and godparents are expected to attend a baptismal preparation class prior to their child's baptism. 

Baptism classes in Spanish are on the last Saturday of the month at 10AM.                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Please contact office for baptism class in English.  A baptism class certificate is valid for two years.

Baptisms in Spanish will be on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month after the 5PM Mass. 

Godparents:  at least 16 yrs old;  have received First communion and Confirmation  and actively living their faith, which means they are able to receive Communion at Mass. 

Canon Law #867 "Parents are obliged to see to it that infants are baptized within the first weeks after birth; as soon as possible after the birth.  An infant in danger of death is to be baptized without any delay."
